Kayongo Daniel
Gratitude Expressed for Continuous Support in My Education “Journey of Faith and Leadership, Kayongo Daniel” My name is Kayongo Daniel and I have benefited graciously from the support received throughout my educational journey from my tenure at Harding Christian Academy to my higher education at Livingstone International University (LIU). This support has not only impacted my life but it continues to positively touch many other lives. Thank you all for supporting my education at all levels.
My journey started at Harding Christian Academy (2008–2013), where I was endowed with the highest level of leadership role, the Head Prefect, and served as an Assistant Sports Prefect for three years. During my time at Harding, I learned the art of leading and understanding my fellow students which was a building block towards my interest in media technology.
Growing along with education shaped my spiritual growth. I fellowship with Nawangoma Church of Christ, serving as a translator and sharing Bible studies with members. I have been contributing to youth conferences, youth development entities, and monthly church fellowships. This firm connection with the church community instilled in me a sense of charity and responsibility. Further, I entered LIU in 2014 and graduated in 2018, with a Bachelors first class degree in Media Technology.
The skills I acquired in video editing, audio editing, marketing strategies, and public relations have been pivotal in shaping my professional journey. I had the opportunity to work as a trainee at the National August House, Parliament of Uganda, which brought me a step closer to my career aspirations in the field of communication. My training period was followed by working for Reaching Mankind for Christ Ministries, a faith-based organization in South Sudan neighbouring Uganda.
Serving in this organization helped me understand the real-world implications of my field. Beyond my professional engagements, my education has also enabled me to serve my community in unique ways. My course has aided in managing the social media platform for my church and creating marketing strategies for Harding under the Churches of Christ in Nawangoma. I believe it is important for my donors and well-wishers to understand the ripple effect their support has created.
Several people have been impacted by the education I received. I plan to further advance in the field of communication to benefit both the church and my personal wellbeing. In addition, I aim to create a partnership between the alumni of H.C.A and the community to bring more students to the rural school for reliability and self-support. The journey thus far has been rewarding and arduous in equal measures, and the generous support received has been my backbone throughout. Your support has been more than financial aid; it has served as a guiding light of hope.
Thank you once again for your support in my relentless pursuit of education and service.

Busoga University: I joined Busoga University in 2011 and graduated in 2014
- I served as a treasurer on the youth executive committee that
I pursued a Bachelor of Arts with Education, and my teaching subjects are Information and Communication Technology and Economics. The course is helping me in that I serve in a Christian Academy (HCA) where I am fully attached to church programs and able to communicate Christian values to the students I teach while in the chapel and during evening meetings at school.
At a personal level, the course has helped me acquire a teaching job at Harding Christian Academy, and I have been in a position to meet school fees for my siblings from the time I was employed in 2014 to date.
So far, I have supported three siblings successfully: a nurse, a Fisheries Officer, and a graduate in Business Administration and Management. On top of this, others are still in the school pipeline. Through the course as a teacher, I have always got the opportunity to extend mentorship services to students (Mark 10:45), who would otherwise lose hope for continuing with academics. So far, several of them have continued their academic programs at universities and vocational institutions and successfully graduated with different courses.
The fact that I received assistance from my donors has enabled me also to have some weaknesses pass through this life successfully. I extend my sincere thanks to the donors, Late Dr. Ganus Clifton, for his diligent and Godly heart of service (Acts 20:35). I also thank Donor Charles Ganus for the salary support you give continuously at Harding Christian Academy.
God bless you abundantly. Through them, God has always and will always see many souls achieve dreams in various ways. May the Almighty God keep protecting and blessing them mightily. I would like the donors to know that whatever help or kind of assistance they render to us goes beyond us as individuals and our families, as well as people outside the families, and also benefits the kingdom of God. I pray that the Living God protects and keeps rewarding them abundantly.

A word of Appreciation to a wonderful family in my life.
Dear Mr. Charles Ganus, I have said thank you to you already, but every time I remember my background, I don’t feel I have said it enough. I would like to say thank you again from the bottom of my heart for your generous, caring and giving heart that enabled me to complete my studies in Christian Ministry at Livingstone International University. Your support wasn’t just about school fees, but your generosity has helped me in my long journey of recovery.
Just to talk about my background a little, I come from a family of seven children of same mother and same father however there are more three from another mother making a total number of ten children from my father. My father died of HIV/AIDS when I was just 10 years old. And when I was young I still remember the discrimination and stigma our mother and all of us faced at that time. We remained with our mother who was the only left hope. It didn’t take long, she also died. When my mother died, our lives changed from a good extreme to the worst.
We all became social outcasts, left with no hope or light of the future. I personally learnt to be silent even when wronged. Loneliness and rejection became my daily bread. But because of your incredible kindness, I have been able to complete my studies. Not only have I completed my University studies, but I have been able to regain self-worth. I glorify God because I am the first graduate in my entire family yet the last boy in the family; our last born was encouraged after seeing my present and at least we have more hope in the future.
I am already involved in helping other people to regain their God-given worth potential by sharing my life experience and the word of God. I have heard many testimonies from young and mature people telling me how my life is practically impacting many youths both in the ministry field and Harding Christian Academy current scholars. Why? Reason being, besides homiletics which is Biblical preaching, I also apply my life application into the illustrations in order to deliver a life changing messages to many youths of this contemporary community.
I thank God because currently I am working with Busoga Bible and Vocational school as a current Principal which is under Church of Christ ministries in Busoga region besides that a minister in Jinja Church of Christ, a missionary to local Church and assistant youth minister in Busoga region. To Mr. Charles Ganus and Patty Ganus thank you very much allowing God to use you impact my life positively.
Once again I say thank you very much and I bless you with all the good of God to be with you.

Lubwama Musa
I am Lubwama Musa, from Nakalongo Village, Irundu Sub County, Buyende District. I joined Harding Christian Academy in 2011–2016. At Harding, I engaged in many activities which increased my ability to serve. I first became a publicity secretary in Scripture Union in Senior One, Term Two. Then in Senior Two, I got converted to Christianity.
I had joined Harding when I was a Muslim, and I was inspired to take Christ as my Savior because I was shown love and even allowed to participate in Scripture Union even when I was still a Muslim. I served as UNSA Secretary in Senior Three and finally served as Chairperson of Scripture Union in Senior Five. I joined LivingStone International University in 2018–2022 after missing school for one year because of tuition. At LIU, I was leading Harding students, and in my Year Two, I contested as a member of the School of Education and went through. I was appointed Minister of Academics (2021–2022). I did a Bachelor’s Degree of Arts in Education and graduated in 2022 with a First Class Degree.
In my congregation, I thank God that I have travelled to many churches while at Harding and after Harding, specifically in the Busoga region. I usually gather from Nakalongo Church of Christ and I am among the youth leaders in the church. Currently, I gather from Bulyangada Church of Christ because that is where I work from. In this church, I am also among the youth ministers and a coordinator for youth in Mayuge District. With the job God has given me, I have always contributed to building church projects; for example, we completed a church toilet last year.
I am always thankful to God because this course has greatly been a start-up to my life. I am the first graduate in my family, and the little I earn from work has helped me support my family and myself. I come from a very poor background, but this scholarship is slowly changing my family. I have also been contributing to the church where needed, and I glorify God in heaven who has kept you alive, Charles and Patty Ganus, because if you had not supported my academics, I do not know where I would be. I am so grateful, and so is my family, for the support you have extended to us.
I do not have enough words to show how happy I am, but I pray that God in heaven blesses your family abundantly. I would also like to ask you to continue supporting Harding because it is like a school for many orphans. It also acts as a training ground for Christianity, and many lives have been changed. I know the late Ganus is proud of the products of Harding for the tremendous work being done towards the Kingdom of God.
Once again, thank you so much to the family of the late Dr. Ganus Clifton Jr. for the support extended to Harding Christian Academy. We are so grateful, and we pray that God blesses you abundantly.
